Sunday 9-12-2010

We had another day of great sailing.  The bridge opened for us at 6:00 AM in Charlevoix and we were off.  The wind was on our port stern all the way from Charlevoix to Mackinaw City with no rain.  The winds were 15 to 25 knots and we averaged over 7 knots.  We got to Mackinaw City by about 3:00 PM.  The following is a picture of the Mackinac Bridge.  Mackinaw City was a nicer little town than I expected.  I found a new running light bulb and replaced the old one that died.

This is the only boat we passed by at the Mackinaw bridge.
